The Roku-Roku HC658 is built to jig borer standards of quality and accuracy. It features bridge style construction with Meehanite cast iron for both the bridge and base. This design provides excellent shock and vibration dampening as well as minimal thermal distortion.
The machine is equipped with dual pneumatic counter balances which provide smooth and accurate movement during high speed contouring and drilling. The 40,000 rpm direct drive spindle utilizes ceramic bearing technology. Spindle temperature is maintained by a spindle oil chiller.
Graphite machining produces volumes of graphite dust which creates excessive machine wear, poor working conditions and environmental hazards. The machine is equipped with a seal tight full enclosure which confines the dust for efficient collection, contaiment and disposal.
